Application
This Isopad drum heater is used to provide medium flow and process temperature in ordinary environments. The special design with a mineral insulated heating cable embedded in a solid metal housing is regulated by a controller with safety-limiter and ensures safety during operation. These heaters are designed for standard 200 liter drum sizes with certified ATEX components according to the latest standards.
The drum heater is made as a one pieced metal housing to be placed over the drum by two persons. The solid design ensures stable operation even on rough surfaces. With the sealing support ring in the top area the heat remains inside and keeps the lower side away from the ground. The metal housing carries the heating cable and evenly distributes the temperature to the drum.
A mechanical thermostat regulates and limits the operating temperature. A lid is not necessarily required, but optional for a more efficient reduce of heat loss.
