Application
Isopad Collotherm is a compact heating system for heating glue and viscous media up to 40°C. The unit consists of a stainless steel metal housing and a stainless steel inner tube with fittings. A resistance heating wire with polymer insulation is wrapped around the inner tube. A temperature sensor and thermal protector are integrated in the heating circuit. Additional layers of aluminum foil, polyester fleece and EPDM foam are applied for better heat distribution and thermal insulation. The heating unit is equipped with a male connector plug mounted on the housing for power supply and sensor input.
The heating unit must be temperature controlled and powered by the external ICon-Collotherm control unit. This temperature controller consists of a polycarbonate housing with transparent cover which is fastened by screws. The electronic components are built in the housing and covered by a polycarbonate panel. Temperature information and system status (using LED's) are shown on the panel. The ICon-Collotherm must be connected via the 2.5 meter long supply cable which has a plug for easy disconnect.
Additional accessories include flexible hoses, couplings and mounting systems.
