Application

The Isopad ICon-BOX 120 series are used for temperature controlling in electrical heating systems. The basis of the unit is an ICon4848 controller which drives a solid state relay. The switch used for this unit has an integrated 8A fuse. All controllers have an alarm relay contact. The ICon-BOX120TP variant is equipped with a 3x20A contactor for 400V 3-phase mains. As per customer requirement the ICon-Box is equipped with connectors or metric glands.

Customized versions

The “1” stands for the version of housing used for the controller. The two numbers after the 1 give the combination of sensor, heater and mains (plugs or glands). Brackets behind this code (on specification label) show up when the alarm relay is used. When operating the controller make sure the heating element is suitable to the controller configuration. The plugs of the versions mentioned below are configured in such a manner that safe operation is never a problem!
